Zeitgeist AM to manage residential project in Prague

Last summer, Invesco Real Estate bought the Delta building, one of the phases of its multifunctional Hagibor project, from developer group Crestyl. The building is to include a total of 165 flats in layouts ranging from 1+kk to 4+kk for rental housing purposes. Construction started in Q4 of last year and is scheduled for completion in Q3 2024. Zeitgeist Asset Management will take care of the complete management of the project during construction, as well as the subsequent leasing and management of the apartments, the company announced.

Czech National Development Bank might build rental flats

The Czech government wants to involve the Czech National Development Bank (NRB) in the construction of affordable rental housing. The cabinet is also planning to amend the law on the State Fund for Investment Support (SFPI), which supports housing development in the Czech Republic. This is to support the government's commitment that up to 10,000 extra rental flats could be built per year by the end of the parliamentary term. CTP records net rental income gain of 38.3% in 2022

Industrial developer CTP's net rental income amounted to €452.1 million in 2022, which was an increase of 38.3% year-on-year, while like-for-like rental growth was 4.5% last year, mainly driven by reversion on expiring leases and renegotiations, and supported by the 2021 indexation of 1.7%. The company's annual profit decreased by 22.4% from €1,025.9 million in 2021 to €796.5 million in 2022.

Creditas Real Estate to build flats for €1 billion in Czechia

New leases

  • Iulius has attracted Kaufland as an anchor tenant in Family Market Tomești, based in Iași County. The retailer will open a 4,000 sqm hypermarket, while the whole project will have a leasable area of around 16,000 sqm.
  • DHL Express Romania has opened its new operational center at VGP Park Bucharest North in Ștefăneștii de Jos, marking the company's first carbon-neutral facility in the country, following a €5 million investment The 4,130 sqm facility includes 3,604 sqm of warehouse space and 526 sqm of offices, with a maximum sorting capacity of 2,800 items per hour.
  • Industrial developer CTP announced that Moemax, part of the XXXLutz Group, has signed a lease for a 5,300 sqm logistics unit at CTPark Bucharest South.

  • At the beginning of September, Ewa Ciołek and Piotr Meleszko were promoted to Senior Leasing Manager.   • Avison Young's Investment Advisory team in Poland has welcomed a new member, Katarzyna Sielewicz, who takes the role of Senior Consultant. Katarzyna holds a master’s degree in Finance from the Stockholm University School of Business and completed an exchange semester at Cass Business School in London. She gained international real estate experience working with the global Research and Strategic Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) in London.
  • Activ Property Services has announced the appointment of Ionuț Grigoraș as Partner in the industrial department. With more than 14 years of experience in the real estate sector, Grigoraș has worked with leading companies such as CTP, WDP, VLParks România, Logicor, P3, MDO, and MLP Group.
