CTP is constructing a brand-new office building in the premium office complex Vlněna, located on a former Brno brownfield site. It aspires to be the most modern building of this type in Central Europe. This 61-metre-high glass building will be located in the centre of the Moravian metropolis, will be completed by mid-2024 and will cost CZK 600 million (€24.65 million), the developer announced.

Industrial and logistics developer CTP has announced the expansion of CTPark Bucharest South through the construction of a new warehouse set to almost double the total leasable area of the project to around 150,000 sqm. 

German company Diehl Controls, a high-tech manufacturer, has leased 18,000 sqm in CTPark Brașov for a research and development centre as well as a production facility. This is the first tenant attracted by CTP in the new project spanning 50,000 sqm that will be completed in the second half of 2024. 

QeOPS, the provider of e-fulfillment services and customized logistics solutions, has increased its occupied warehouse space in CTPark Bucharest to around 15,000 sqm. 

Industrial and logistics developer CTP recorded strong like-for-like rental growth of 4.3% in the first nine months of 2022, while net rental income rose 36.8% to €328.2 million by the end of September compared to the same period of last year. 

CTP sees growing interest in smaller multifunctional spaces of up to 2,000 sqm in the Czech Republic. In Brno's Ponávka Business Park, which is owned by CTP, there has been a long-standing interest in small spaces despite their full occupancy. Therefore, the developer has built two CTBox buildings in the revitalised brownfield CTPark Brno Líšeň, in which it is possible to rent multifunctional spaces from as little as 400 sqm, and more than half of the units have already been occupied. Most recently, the same type of units has also become available at CTPark Hradec Králové.

The Environment component in ESG is attracting the largest share of investments made by property players, as sustainable buildings have a better position in the market, concluded speakers in the ESG panel at SEE Property Forum 2022, held in Bucharest.

Industrial and logistics developer CTP has named Matthias Bitzan as Country Head for operations in Austria. He joins CTP from Austria’s Erste Group Bank where he was head of Commercial Real Estate Clients and responsible for growing the bank’s loan portfolio in Austria and CEE markets over the last decade. 

Industrial developer CTP has delivered a warehouse spanning 12,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest North for Sezamo, part of the European Rohlik Group.

CTP and the Faculty of Civil Engineering from the Brno University of Technology have entered a five-year partnership and will jointly work to increase interest in construction subjects and support young talents, the developer announced.
