IAD's Prvý realitný fond real estate fund has acquired through its real estate company Logis Rugvica d.o.o. a plot of land intended for development in the Sveta Helena area, near the Croatian capital Zagreb. With this project, Prvý realitný fond is successfully starting its activities on the Croatian market.
Immofinanz has successfully closed the sale of the Grand Center Zagreb office property to a Croatian real estate company. This transaction represents a further step in the optimisation of the portfolio.
The construction of a modern distribution centre by HAVI Group has begun. The new distribution centre in Velika Gorica will cover an area of 8,300 sqm. HAVI has entrusted the process of location selection and tendering the developer to CBRE.
S Immo successfully concluded the disposal of the Eurocenter office building in Zagreb, Croatia. CPI Property Group has signed an agreement about selling two companies which own and operate resort hotels on the island of Hvar in Croatia. The agreement concerns the disposal of Sunčani Hvar Hotels, the company announced. The full purchase price has been deposited with an escrow agent, but the amount of the price was not specified.
Brno-based Domoplan from the Fipox Group continues its expansion into Southern Europe. At the beginning of the year, it announced the construction of apartments worth hundreds of millions of crowns in Zagreb, Croatia, and now it is also entering the Serbian market. At the beginning of next year it will start construction in Belgrade, where it is planning a luxury residential project worth €20 million, reports e15.cz.
Accolade Group continues its international expansion. The Group recently expanded its portfolio with Croatia, its seventh European country. North of the city of Zagreb, Accolade has obtained a building permit for its first industrial hall of approximately 50,000 sqm. In parallel with this project, the group is working on other sites in the Balkans.
In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the Croatian real estate market, ALFI Real Estate Fund (ALFI RE) recently added another gem to its investment portfolio. The acquisition of the Matrix B office building in Zagreb's bustling business district marks a significant milestone for the Fund, propelling its real estate portfolio value to over €100 million.
SES is refurbishing the King Cross shopping centre in Zagreb, Croatia which it has owned and managed since 2018. Construction work to completely refurbish the centre will begin in 2024 following an investment of approximately €40 million. Completion is scheduled for autumn 2025.
Czech real estate fund ZDR Investments has bought the Galeria Bakar shopping park in Rijeka, Croatia, for €40 million. Part of the shopping park has already been completed and another one will be ready within a year. The acquisition brings the fund's portfolio to 39 properties with a value in excess of CZK 10 billion (over €411 million), the group reports on its website.
Hexing Technologies Europe has leased 8,000 sqm for a new production plant in Globalworth Timisoara Industrial Park I. The lease deal was brokered by CBRE.
Eolus Poland, a renewable energy developer from Sweden, will become one of the tenants of LIFE Building. It will soon occupy nearly 300 sqm of the office building located in Warsaw's Wola district.
Polcast Media group, the owner of Polonia 1 TV, has signed a lease for approximately 500 sqm of office space at Trinity One in Warsaw. Located in Warsaw's Służewiec district, Trinity One is part of Revetas Capital's portfolio.
New appointments
Avison Young has named Adrian Crizbășianu, former executive at DB Schenker and VGP, as the new Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency. He has an extensive background in logistics and real estate spanning over 25 years.
Katarzyna Uzar joins the Valuation and Advisory team at Avison Young in Poland to take on the position of Assistant Valuer. She will support the team in creating offers and letters of appointment for valuation and will help property valuers throughout the valuation process.
Bartosz Chrostowski, an expert with almost 10 years of experience in commercial property, has joined real estate advisory firm Savills as an Associate Director of the landlord representation team of the office agency led by Daniel Czarnecki.
