The Czech office market is facing historically low supply, especially in premium locations where new office construction has slowed down significantly. CTP is responding to these needs through its Clubco network of coworking centres. 

YIT has decided to continue in cooperation with the RSJ investment group. After the completed Vesi Hostivař project in Prague 15 and the planned residential construction in Brno, the two companies are joining forces for the realization of the Toivo Roztyly project in Prague 11.

Czech Inn Hotels has headed outside the capital. It is buying the Barceló Brno Palace Hotel in the Moravian metropolis with a price tag climbing to CZK 1 billion (€39.5 million), reports Seznamzpravy.cz.

Crestyl has fully launched its new Dornych project in the neighbourhood of Brno's main railway station, offering a clinic, hotel, coworking and dozens of restaurants, bars and cafes. At the end of October, the old shopping centre has been closed and is now being cleaned out and is awaiting gradual demolition.

For the first time, YIT is expanding its development activities outside Prague and is preparing its first residential project in Brno. A growing demand for quality housing in the city is offering interesting potential for construction. 

GARBE Industrial Real Estate CEE has received a building permit for two industrial premises in Pohořelice, 30 km south of Brno. The construction of the two halls is starting almost immediately and to be available for the tenants within eight months.

The Regional Research Forum has presented H1 2024 Brno and Ostrava office market data. The vacancy rate in both cities is moving slightly below 12%.

The average offer price of new residential projects in Brno has exceeded CZK 129,400 per sqm (€5,093) and Q2 2024 has broken the previous record from 2022. Demand has also grown sharply, as data by Trikaya shows.

Scott.Weber Workspace is expanding its coworking premises entering new buildings in Prague, Ostrava and Brno and opening 16,500 sqm of new offices for more than 2,000 people.
