In Q1 2024, 246 resi units in Brno have found their buyers. This is a 100% increase compared to the previous year's average, according to data by Trikaya.

The real estate market in the Czech Republic has recently been most influenced by the overall economic situation associated with current events in Europe including the war in Ukraine, expensive energy prices and high interest rates. According to 2023 PSN data in the residential segment, the situation is favourable for investor purchases.

The Vlněna brownfield project in Brno, which was purchased in 2007 by CTP, is now entering its final phase. This year, the developer is planning to complete the first office building in this project.

CTP has signed a lease agreement with PKV BUILD, a leading player in energy consulting. Leased premises are currently being built by CTP at its Vlněna office complex in Brno, Czech Republic.

Data from the real estate company Trikaya, as e15.cz reports, are speaking clearly: while 1,192 apartments in new buildings were sold on the Brno market in 2021, last year it was only 492. This is the least in the last 10 years.

A record number of new brands entered the Czech retail market last year. In the past ten years, since Cushman & Wakefield has been closely monitoring this activity, none equalled the 2023 list of 39 new retail brands.
