Garbe has received a building permit for the second phase of its Garbe Park Brno South project. It is adding two modern buildings, bringing the park’s total area to 111,000 sqm.

In the first half of this year, 777 new residential units have been sold in Brno, 26 per cent more than in the same period in 2024, with the average price of new apartments setting a new record, according to the current analysis of Trikaya, which has been monitoring the development of the Brno residential market for a long time.

Although the total supply of office space in Brno is approximately 5.6 times smaller than in Prague, space currently under construction has already reached half the level of the Capital, according to the Regional Research Forum's H1 2025 analysis of market dynamics in Moravia.

The strong demand for apartments in new buildings in the Moravian metropolis is not slowing down, according to the latest analysis by Trikaya. In the first quarter of 2025, developers in Brno have sold 479 new apartments, the most since Q2 2021. 

The intensive construction of warehouse and production facilities for lease across the Czech Republic continued into the first quarter of 2025, according to the analysis of demand and availability of modern industrial space by Savills. However, supply remains insufficient in certain key markets, particularly in Prague and Brno. 

PSN has announced the launch of the sale of the first phase of the Brno Jedna residential project near the very centre of Brno. The first two buildings – Neon and Xenon – will offer a total of 188 units.

The share of renegotiations of lease contracts on the Czech office market is increasing, currently hovering at around 50% of all concluded transactions. A growing number of companies are preferably extending their existing lease rather than moving to new premises after their lease expiry, reports Colliers.
