Belgian property developer Atenor has started the construction of UP-site, its first residential project in Bucharest. The complex comprises 270 apartments in two residential high-rise buildings of 12 and 25 floors with a common ground-floor. The project is located in Floreasca, one of the city’s exclusive areas.
The first phase of Atenor’s BakerStreet office project in District 11 of Budapest has received the final building permit. Located at the intersection of Szerémi and Hengermalom Roads, BakerStreet Phase 1 will be implemented as a Class A+ office development on 17,000 sqm and will be handed over in Q1 2023.
Adventum is analyzing the acquisition of the Hermes Business Campus office project in Bucharest, owned by Atenor, in a transaction of over €150 million, according to Ziarul Financiar.
GTC has decided to extend its Hungarian portfolio with the Váci Greens D office building in Budapest. The transaction is partially financed from the green bonds issued in 2020 and is in line with the Group strategy to invest in a sustainable portfolio of commercial buildings located in the CEE capitals.
On 12 March, Belgian developer Atenor is launching an issue of 4-year and 6-year green bonds for a minimum amount of, respectively, €15 million and €50 million in the form of a public offer in Belgium open to retail investors and, to a certain extent, qualified investors.
Atenor has signed an agreement relating to the acquisition of new plots in District XI of Budapest for a total area of 82,861 sqm. This new project, named Lake City has the capacity to build a total of 92,183 sqm residential area and will propose 1,326 apartments developed in eight phases. The first phase has a valid building permit in place, while for the rest of the project the building permits are yet to be obtained.
Atenor has signed an agreement relating to the acquisition of another plot in District XI of Budapest, under 20 Hengermalom Road, with an area of 8,326 sqm. The plot is next to Atenor’s planned project, BakerStreet, and similarly, a Class A+ office building will be developed on it as Phase II of BakerStreet.
Belgian real estate developer Atenor entrusted the Budapest History Museum with the archaeological excavation of the plot of 68-84 Bécsi Road in Óbuda, on which it is implementing one of its latest projects, the 15,000 sqm RoseVille office building. The archaeological research carried out on the plot is significant as it was finally possible to examine the large, connected area of the Roman time cemetery of the military town of Aquincum.
The sixth and last building of the Váci Greens office complex in Budapest, the 23,445 sqm Building “E”, has received the final occupancy permit. With this, Atenor’s flagship project in Budapest is completed.
Atenor announced that RoseVille, its latest project in Budapest, located on Bécsi Road of District III has received the final building permit. The developer acquired the 6,604 sqm plot at 68-84 Bécsi Road last spring to build a 15,000 sqm Class A+ office building there.
Echo Investment has signed lease agreements covering a total of almost 3.5 thousand sqm of space in Katowice's Face2Face Business Campus. The largest contract covered a space of 1.35 thousand sqm, which will be occupied by a Medicover clinic for the next few years.
GreenWay, a provider of electromobility solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, is to join the ranks of tenats of Łużycka Plus. The company has just moved in to a 1,850 sqm office. The building is now fully leased.
Sii Polska has extended its lease of almost 4,700 sqm of office space in the Metron office building in Warsaw until 2029. The company, which has been present in the building since 2011, is its largest tenant.

Anna Vondrackova has joined the team of REassurance company as Senior Transaction Advisor in Prague. She has a solid background as a real estate lawyer and brings strong legal knowledge.
In September, Michal Berski took up the position of head of the warehouse sector at CBRE Poland. He has been with the company for over 10 years. In his new role, he manages strategy and the development of all business lines within the warehouse and industrial sector.
Slawomir Czarnecki is the new president of Grupa Muszkieterów and ITM Poland. He has replaced David de Bosschère. The new CEO is the owner of the Bricomarché shop in Świecie and has many years of experience in trade, as well as in the Group's internal structures.
