Trei Real Estate’s development portfolio grew by 33 percent to €1.2 billion in 2020 from €900 million in 2019. The sum total breaks down into €1.0 billion in residential real estate and c. €200 million in retail real estate. The proprietary portfolio of Trei maintained its total of c. €1.2 billion and it includes 349 assets.

Czech development group Horizon has a record year behind it, despite the uncertainty and difficult conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the company's total revenue from the sale of 337 units in five different projects reached €100 million (CZK 2.7 billion). Horizon plans to build around a thousand more units this year and will put another 550 apartments on sale.

Over 24,000 residential units are in construction in Bucharest and its surroundings, according to the market report ”Romania Residential Market Genome 2021” released by real estate consultant SVN Romania. 

Wallberg completed the first tower of the XCity Towers project developed in the northern part of Timişoara and the apartments were sold in full, the company announced.

Alesonor, the developer of the green residential complex Amber Gardens, obtained the PUZ for Amber Forest, a project with over 500 green villas and 200 green apartments near Bucharest. The zonal urban plan, PUZ in Romanian, is necessary for the process of obtaining the construction permit

Warsaw' city centre is to be the home co-living specialist Vonder's latest project, UpTown by Vonder, which will comprise 113 brand new rental apartments. The new project joins UpRiver by Vonder, the brand’s flagship site in the Polish capital, which officially launched last year and will see the fifth stage of the development complete this month. 

Hungarian lender OTP Bank is providing the largest project financing loan to date for the development of the Duna Terasz Grande apartment complex in Budapest. According to the financing agreement signed recently, OTP provides a HUF 23 billion (appr. €62.8 million) loan for developer D&B Ingatlanfejlesztő-Group. The 790-apartment project is the largest waterfront residential development in the 13th district. It will be handed over in 2023.

Prima Development Group announces the completion of the Boemia Apartments project, whose construction started in 2019 in Bucharest. 

A newly opened project at Taśmowa Street with over 370 apartments joins Resi4Rent buildings in Warsaw Brewery and at Suwak Street.
