PSN through its Brno branch is completing the acquisition of two extensive sites in Brno owned by energy company E.ON.

Most buildings are located on Cejl street, with additional properties purchased near the emerging Brno Jedna project. PSN will transform brownfields covering 6 hectares into a modern district combining original tenement houses with contemporary residential development. On the newly acquired 1.5-hectare plots, the developer plans to build up to 400 apartments.

"This acquisition confirms trust and quality in our work. We value being chosen among other interested parties. Cooperation with E.ON group companies represents a connection of two strong and respected brands," says Pavel Citta, PSN's Acquisitions Director.

The area has rich history dating to the First Republic period when residential buildings originally stood here. In subsequent decades, it served administrative and operational purposes, including warehouses and technical facilities. The transaction also includes a heritage-protected building at Plynárenská 5, which housed the city's second steam power plant from 1878-1897. PSN plans to restore the area's original residential function, creating a residential project with a unique housing concept previously unseen in Brno.

"Our goal is to work sensitively with the site's history while bringing modern urban living with high added value. We want this area to become a natural part of the city again, and we'd like to introduce globally popular loft living to the market," adds Petr Pospíšil, director of PSN's Brno branch. Companies within the E.ON group view the site transfer as a natural step in its development. "We're pleased the area is going to an investor with clear vision and experience transforming similar locations. Negotiations with PSN proceeded according to schedule and were constructively conducted with one goal - to reach agreement," says Pavel Čada, Managing Director of distribution company EG.D, part of the E.ON group.
