Neinver, a Spanish company specialised in investment, development and management of property assets, has announced the opening date for Prague The Style Outlets, located in the capital of the Czech Republic. A joint project between The Prague Outlet and Neinver, Prague The Style Outlets will open its doors in 26 April 2018.

With a prime location less than 5 minutes from Prague’s international airport and 25 minutes from the city centre, Prague The Style Outlets will be the largest outlet centre in the Czech Republic. The first phase will feature close to 20,000 sqm of gross leasable area (GLA), 115 units and 2,400 parking spaces. Phase 2 will boost the total space to 30,000 sqm of GLA and 190 units. Prague The Style Outlets will offer services and amenities such as a playground, free Wi-Fi, lounges, and VAT refund.

Located in one of Europe’s top tourist destinations, which receives over 7 million tourists every year, the centre will also benefit from a strong catchment area of 4.6 million people within a 90-minute radius, with convenient public transport links.

When complete, the centre, which involved an investment of over €70 million, should generate about 600 to 700 direct jobs and Neinver intends to hold a job fair in advance of the opening.

Neinver continues strengthening its expansion strategy in Europe and its leadership position in the outlet market, in which it currently manages 15 centres and 293,500 sqm. “The opening of the centre will be a milestone in Neinver’s expansion strategy, which is focusing on outlet centres near major European cities with strong catchment areas in terms of population, tourism potential, economic growth and transport links”, Sebastian Sommer, Neinver’s Business Development Director adds.

The company also has other projects in the pipeline in the region, including an agreement with Carrefour Polska to manage the Metropolitan Outlet centre in Bydgoszcz.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
