More and more foreigners are moving to Poland to work in the logistics sector, which already accounts for approximately 20 per cent of all foreign nationals working in Poland. The largest groups by nationality are Ukrainians, Belarussians and Georgians. Other rapidly growing cohorts of migrant workers come from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Industrial developer CTP has leased over 100,000 sqm of logistics space across its Hungarian projects to a Korean company specialised in automotive logistics.

LemonTree is starting another investment project, this time located in the capital of West Pomerania in Poland. WestSide Szczecin will deliver nearly 31,000 square meters of warehouse and office space, equipped with solutions that reduce the building’s environmental impact. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in February 2025.

The industrial and logistics sector in CEE-6 regions attracted on average 27% (€14 billion) of the last five-year investment volume on a rolling basis in the region. The total commercial real estate investment sector hovers on average around €10 billion each year, according to Colliers.

Alto Real Estate is developing the site of the former terminal in Rača district in Bratislava into a new area consisting of city warehouses and retail and showroom premises of Store.to, reports Yimba.sk.

Panattoni has completed the construction of a new production and warehouse facility for Air Spiralo in Szamotuły, near Poznań. The new 9,200 sqm investment will enhance the company's production and logistics capabilities.

Panattoni has been granted €16.5 million in financing from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) for the development of its Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska IV project. Construction work was launched in March on 34,000 sqm of  warehousing space. A major tenant has also already been acquired with midocean leasing 21,000 sqm.

Logicor has extended its lease agreement with PepsiCo Polska for ca. 58,500 sqm of warehouse and office space at Logicor Mszczonów Park near Warsaw. The site is PepsiCo’s largest distribution centre in Poland.

Developer Concens Investments has started construction of Phase II of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP) project, located near Ostrava's Leoš Janáček Airport in Mošnov. Its completion is scheduled in Q3 this year.

Nagel-Group, one of Europe’s leading companies in food logistics, will lease one of the buildings within LemonTree’s Booster Zabrze complex. The tenant will move into the facility in the second quarter of 2025. The agreement between the companies has been signed for a 15-year term.
