Prologis Park Prague-Uzice fully occupied

Prologis has signed a new lease agreement with ESA Group for 10,740 square metres at Prologis Park Prague-Uzice in the Czech Republic. ESA Group, one of the leading logistics companies in Central Europe, will lease Building 2, making the 97,800-square metre Prologis Park Prague-Uzice fully occupied. The company is an existing customer of Prologis at Prologis Park Prague D1 East, southeast of Prague. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction.

Panattoni Europe delivers logistics centre for Amazon

Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of another e-commerce logistics centre for Amazon. The facility with total useful floor area of 161,500 sqm was erected in Kołbaskowo, near Szczecin. More than 3,000 robots have been put in place to support the employees, using Amazon Robotics technology. The investment was developed to comply with the requirements of BREEAM environmental certification.

Panattoni Europe completes BTS project in Central Poland

Panattoni Europe has completed stage one in the construction of a distribution centre for Castorama Polska. The developer has delivered 50,000 sqm out of 100,000 planned. One of the largest investments in Poland is going up in Stryków and it will provide logistics support which will enable the leading DIY/home improvement chain in Poland to go further towards fulfilling its fundamental commitment to customers – to provide them with the best possible product availability at attractive prices. The official opening of this section of the facility took place on 16 November 2017.

P3 signs first customer for new Czech logistics park

P3 has signed a deal with FM Logistic to be the first occupier at its new park in Lovosice, close to the borders with Germany and Poland in the north of the Czech Republic. The French logistics company is already a well-established P3 customer, with build-to-suit warehouses at P3 Prague D11 park and on two P3 parks in Poland completed earlier this year. It also occupies space on P3 parks in Romania.

Polish industrial market sets new highs

Poland’s warehouse supply hit a record high at the end of Q3 2017. The industrial stock totalled 12.86 million sqm, which represented an 18% rise year-on-year. Tenant demand remained robust on the country’s core warehouse markets, driven largely by logistics operators whose share in total take-up amounted to 45%. The vacancy rate slipped down by 0.8 percentage points year-on-year while headline and effective rents remained largely unchanged, reveals Cushman & Wakefield.

Goodman builds logistics centre in Western Poland

The facility will be a logistics centre for replacement parts to serve the Polish and East German market. New leases

  • Expur has leased 940 sqm for its new offices in Business Garden Bucharest, owned by Vastint Romania. The deal was brokered by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance.
  • GTX Romania has leased 2,700 sqm in VLParks Bucharest West, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.
  • Vitalaire Romania, a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, has relocated its offices to Bucharest-based One Cotroceni Park, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • Artur Apostoł joins Griffin Capital Partners as Co-Managing Partner to lead the company’s real estate activities together with Marek Obuchowicz, who has been promoted to Co-Managing Partner. Artur and Marek are taking over responsibilities from Piotr Fijołek, who transitions from an active role and will continue supporting the firm as Senior Advisor. These appointments mark the completion of a leadership transformation aligned with the company’s dynamic growth and long-term strategy.
  • CBRE Hungary has named Anna Zhang as Business Development Manager, while Antoine Fromental takes on the role of Hotel Investment Analyst. Zhang is tasked with developing partnerships with Far Eastern clients and strengthening business relations in CEE markets. She previously served on the PwC Hungary China Desk team. Fromental joins the firm after roles at B&B Hotels and Cushman & Wakefield, where he contributed to various European hotel development, valuation, and market research projects.
  • Garbe has named Zuzana Štěpánková as Business Development Manager in the Czech Republic. She has previously worked at iO Partners as Senior Consultant.
