Development company Gridarch has completed Phase II of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP). This phase includes Hall D, offering 11,300 sqm of industrial space including offices, which was handed over to international manufacturing company Brose.
The automotive supplier launched operations at its third production site in Northern Moravia in 2025, where it develops, tests and manufactures seat structures for automotive brands.
Brose has been active in the Czech Republic for 20 years and currently employs around 3,000 people at its sites in Kopřivnice, Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, and Ostrava. The new production facility in Mošnov is part of this regional network.
The new hall in Mošnov expands Brose's manufacturing capacities and enables the company to respond more effectively to customer requirements. Thanks to its location in a logistics park with direct connections to road, rail and air transport infrastructure, the efficiency of supplying automotive customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is enhanced. "With our investments in the Moravian-Silesian region, we are demonstrating our confidence in the Czech Republic as an important industrial location," says Niclas Pfüller, Managing Director of Brose Czech Republic.
The Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park is located in Mošnov, in close proximity to Leoš Janáček Airport. Thanks to its combination of air, road and rail transport, it has been building its position as a logistics hub with reach into Poland and Slovakia since the completion of its first halls in 2020. "From discussions with our tenants, we know that they particularly appreciate the unique combination of transport connections. The location of Brose's operations in OAMP is further proof that the park is not only a logistics hub, but also an attractive location for manufacturing companies," said Tomáš Novotný, CEO of Gridarch.
The total area of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park will exceed 550,000 sqm in the coming years. Phase III, including three new halls totalling 124,000 sqm for BMW Group's distribution centre, is expected to be completed in mid-2026.
