CPI Property Group is entering the next stage of preparations for its first office development in Poland – Lighton, located at 69 Prosta Street in Warsaw.
The company has signed a contract with Tree Group for the demolition of the existing building on the plot designated for the new development.
In January, site clearance works and technical preparations for demolition will commence, with demolition works scheduled to start in February.
"The demolition of the Prosta 69 building is an important moment for us, representing a concrete step in our plans for this location," says Mikołaj Płonka, Development Director at CPI Property Group.
Prosta 69 is a business address in Warsaw with a history going back to the industrial origins of the Wola district. Until the 1990s, the site housed Polam's J. Grimau High Melting Point Metal Works, specialising in the production of light bulb filaments.
The Lighton office building will offer 23,600 sqm of space across 14 storeys, with 10 floors in the main section and four floors in its dominant structure. The building will feature an underground car park with 200 parking spaces, cycling facilities, electric vehicle charging points, a green terrace, retail units and a restaurant. The development will be certified under Well, Breeam, Smartscore and Wiredscore.
