Local investment fund Trigea has acquired the Louvre office building in Prague 5. The property has around 4,600 sqm of leasable space with tenants including Swiss rail carriage manufacturer Stadler, Lukoil Accounting and Finance Europe and health insurance company VZP.

Czech investment group Accolade aims for the Slovak market. Investment in two logistic halls near Košice airport will open Accolade´s fourth market. Thanks to the strategic location, tenants will have good access not only to the east of Slovakia but also to Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine. The halls will cover the area of 36 000 sqm from the total disposable area of 75 000 sqm. The total value of the buildings is CZK 750 million.

AFI Europe signed a non-binding letter of intent for the acquisition of NEPI Rockcastle’s office portfolio in Romania, with a total built area of approx. 170,000 square meters. AFI Europe will have exclusivity to conduct a due diligence in respect of the Class A office buildings with a total value of approx. €310 million.  

Colliers International Romania has been assigned to provide property management services for Business Garden Bucharest, the newest office complex developed by Vastint Romania, in the Orhideea area in Bucharest. As a result, Colliers reaches a managed portfolio of over 400,000 sqm and strengthens its property management activity for offices in the Capital’s Center-West area.

In the first half of this year, MLP Group signed 22 lease contracts for a total of 217,000 sqm of warehouse space in Poland, Germany and Romania. This is more than double the previous year’s figure, of just over 100,000 sqm.

AFI Europe has signed a pre-sale agreement with Plaza Centers N.V. for the acquisition of 75% of the shares in the Casa Radio Project, for the price of €60 million.

Immofinanz has successfully finalised the acquisition of the Warsaw Spire Tower through the purchase of the respective real estate holding companies. The closing took place today, 11 July 2019, following the release of the transaction by the Polish antitrust authorities. The sellers are the Ghelamco Group, which completed the tower in 2016, and Madison International Realty, a global real estate private equity firm. The agreed property value for the office tower equals roughly €386.0 million. The expected annual rental income based on invoiced rents totals approximately €19.6 million.

The second quarter of 2019 reconfirmed the increased interest for office space in Romania. Over 115,000 square meters of office space was leased over this period at the national level, a value similar to that registered in the second quarter of 2018.

Atrium European Real Estate Limited has completed €341 million of transactions in Poland comprising the disposal of two assets and an acquisition.
