As the Wiesbaden-based research institute ecostra reports on the basis of its ongoing market monitoring, 4 outlet centres and a retail sales area of almost 55,000 sqm were added on balance in Europe in the past 12 months

Construction of the first of two warehouse buildings in 7R Park Łódź West II complex is nearing completion. The building has been leased to two tenants. MDH, a subsidiary of the Meyra Group, will soon start its operations in the location. The company produces and sells orthotic supplies for people with movement disorders. During the lease process MDH was supported by the consulting company Axi Immo. VESBO Poland, a distributor of sanitary installations and water filters, has also chosen this location in Łódź

Cavatina Holding has completed work on the top floors of the Global Office Park office towers in Katowice. The office buildings will be 104 m high each and will provide over 55 thousand sq m of space. Their commissioning is planned for the second quarter of 2022, and they are already leased in about 54%.

MLP Group, industrial developer operating across the European warehouse property market (in Poland, Germany, Austria and Romania) has just purchased a 12-ha land plot at Spiżowa Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Located in the western part of the city, 900 m from the S3 road junction and 9 km away from the city centre, it will accommodate MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski, a modern logistics and distribution centre.

Austrian privately held development company Karimpol Group officially launched the construction of the Squarebizz project in Bratislava. The first phase consists of 15,000 sqm of retail, storage, service and showroom facilities accompanied by up to 2,000 sqm of offices in three separate buildings. A second construction phase will extend the Squarebizz Bory by another 15,000 sqm of modern flexible space plus offices.

CPI Property Group and Aroundtown notified Globalworth of a series of transactions in respect of their existing holdings which have resulted in Zakiono, an entity indirectly owned by the consortium holding a total of 51.50% of the shares in the company. The list of industrial and logistics developers active in the booming Polish market has now been joined by LCube, headed by Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura. The leasing team will be led by Aleksandra Kołbon. LCube's first project will be implemented in Jasionka near Rzeszów.
