Demand for office space in Bucharest was flat at 286,100 sqm in 2022 compared to the previous year, while the vacancy rate fell slightly to 12.54%. Demand was driven by the IT sector, which had a share of more than 25% of the office leasing market, according to JLL Romania.

The developer has already leased out around 58,000 sqm of the total 61,000 sqm of Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate. DFDS, a company that offers comprehensive transport and logistics services across the whole of Europe, is to use almost 10,500 sqm.

ELI Parks, the industrial network developed by Element Group and D Craig Holding, will start two new projects with a total area of 42,000 sqm in the Buftea Chitila area, in northwestern Bucharest.

Polish fashion retailer LPP has leased 65,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West for its new regional distribution centre that will cover southeastern Europe. The park spans around 770,000 sqm and is located near the Romanian capital.

The last month of 2022 brought a 0.7% decrease in rents compared to the previous month with prices in Budapest sinking by 0.9%, ingatlan.com reports.

Alesonor said it would kick off the development of Agora, the facilities component of the Amber Forest residential complex, which includes commercial, medical and sports investments. Panattoni has purchased 4 ha of land and is soon to start construction on Panattoni Park Warsaw South III Piaseczno, where it will immediately develop the entire area of around 20,000 sqm. The development is being constructed near to the S7 expressway and the Janki junction, which joins the national road S7 and the S8 expressway. 

Construction has just started in the second phase at East Gate Business Park. A total area of 9100 sqm will be available in the hall which offers space for production, assembly, fulfilment and storage purposes.
