Nhood Romania has announced a partnership with Reuben Brothers to transform the former Solventul industrial platform in Timisoara. The 45-hectare site, with a history dating back to 1869, will be converted into a primarily residential area with integrated retail, office, service, and public amenities.

Romania's hospitality industry recorded a 19% increase in turnover in the first half of 2025, the third largest advance in the European Union after Greece (35%) and Hungary (22%), according to Eurostat data cited by Colliers. Mendota Invest, member of the OTP Group and investor behind the Emonika development in Ljubljana, has signed a contract with Strabag for the execution of the southern section of the project. The southern part of Emonika with a contract value of €134 million will feature a 100-metre-high office tower, a shopping centre, a hotel and four levels of underground parking.

GTC has priced €455 million senior secured notes due 2030 with a coupon of 6.50% per annum. The transaction was oversubscribed and attracted international institutional investors and Polish funds, including both existing noteholders and new investors.

Speedwell is strengthening its collaboration with Garanti BBVA Romania through a new €8 million financing agreement. The facility will fund the development of Building C8, the fourth building within The Ivy, Speedwell's residential project near Băneasa Forest. With this deal, Garanti BBVA's total financing for The Ivy now reaches almost €40 million.
