Romanian investors topped the commercial real estate acquisition rankings in the first nine months of 2025, according to a new report by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance.

Once considered a purely transactional asset class, retail in CEE is rapidly evolving into a platform for experience, community, and brand identity. This shift was at the centre of the discussion at SEE Property Forum 2025, where industry leaders explored how shopping centres are adapting to changing consumer expectations, ESG requirements, and the growing demand for meaningful, multi-use spaces. 

Wing Group has signed an agreement with GTC to purchase a development site at 173-177 Váci Road in Budapest, covering more than 2.1 hectares. The company plans to build approximately 470 apartments and a 23,000 sqm office building as part of a mixed-use project on Hungary's largest office market area.

Construction has begun on the Nová Cihelna Kladno residential project in the Kladno-Rozdělov district, featuring 104 apartments. The development includes ecological elements such as photovoltaic panels, heat pumps and an underground rainwater retention tank. Future residents will enjoy a large community garden with park landscaping.

Olympian Parks, owned by Helios Phoenix, has appointed Ana Dumitrache as CEO starting 1st November. The light industrial and logistics platform aims to strengthen its market position and grow towards 500,000 sqm in the medium term by leveraging its existing portfolio and land bank.

CTP has signed a lease with a global logistics service provider for a 34,450 sqm warehouse facility at CTPark Sulechwów in Poland. The new tenant will occupy nearly 46% of the developed area of the park through 33,376 sqm of warehouse space and a 1,074 sqm office area.
