Bálint Botos is an investment and real estate professional with a strong academic and entrepreneurial background. He earned his degree in economics with a specialisation in Urban and Rural Development from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME GTK). He further deepened his expertise in finance through the CFA Institute and in management at Harvard Business School, by finalising the HBS PLD executive education program. Mr. Botos co-founded Forestay Group, where he serves as Managing Partner, while also holding the position of CEO at Forestay Fund Management Plc., the Group’s main investment management entity. Under their leadership, Forestay has developed notable real estate projects, including Dean’s Home Budapest – a 418-room hybrid student accommodation and hotel – and is currently also developing Marriott brands such as Moxy and Residence Inn, featuring nearly 1,000 rooms. Forestay’s current development portfolio is worth more than €300 million. The Group is constantly looking for new acquisition targets in the hotel and residential sectors.
