Liebrecht & wooD Poland has reached a key construction milestone at Drucianka Campus, a mixed-use development on Warsaw's Praga-Północ district, built on the site of a former wire factory. The project will deliver nearly 38,000 sqm of office, retail and service space by 2028, including around 30,000 sqm of offices and 8,000 sqm of retail and services. The development is positioned as a talent campus — a multi-functional workplace designed to help companies attract and retain staff.
"Today, competitive advantage is increasingly determined by the quality of the workplace and the ability to attract and retain talent. Drucianka Campus will address these needs, combining historic and contemporary architecture with greenery, technology, and a broad offer of food, services and events," said Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba, CEO of Liebrecht & wooD in Poland. A Kantar Polska survey among workers at the nearby Centrum Praskie Koneser found that 80% said a revitalised, mixed-use environment had a positive effect on their wellbeing.
The project sits within Warsaw's Nowe Centrum Warszawy programme, close to three major transport hubs: Warszawa Wschodnia, Dworzec Wileński and Warszawa Stadion. Warszawa Wschodnia station is currently being modernised and is expected to serve over 50,000 passengers daily after completion in 2029, with a future direct connection to the planned M3 metro line. "Praga-Północ is undergoing major transformation. The modernisation of Warszawa Wschodnia and its connection to the M3 line will significantly improve accessibility across the area," said Marc Lebbe, Managing Partner at Liebrecht & wooD.
The campus will be surrounded by new residential developments, including Drucianka Wschodnia by SGI. Drucianka Campus is targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification and is being delivered using a construction management model. "We are building Drucianka Campus with the long term in mind. We are convinced it will be one of the projects that permanently changes Praga-Północ," added Bartkiewicz-Podoba.
Liebrecht & wooD has been active in Central and Eastern European real estate since 1991, with a portfolio including Centrum Praskie Koneser, Centrum Marszałkowska and Plac Unii. The company is also developing Roma Tower, a residential skyscraper in central Warsaw.
