Signum Work Station, an office building on ul. Domaniewska in Warsaw's Mokotów district, has received the WELL Health-Safety Rating, awarded by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The certification, which is independently verified and evidence-based, covers operational protocols, cleaning and maintenance, air and water quality management, emergency preparedness, and communication with building occupants.

The building met requirements across several areas, including cleaning and disinfection procedures, emergency preparedness programmes (comprising an emergency preparedness plan, business continuity plan and safe re-entry plan), and tenant health resources. Points were also awarded in the stakeholder engagement and innovation categories, including for having a WELL AP-accredited professional on the project team.

"Achieving the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Signum Work Station was a process focused primarily on translating the certification requirements into practical measures that have a tangible impact on the health, safety and comfort of the building's occupants," said Piotr Iwanowski, ESG Manager and BREEAM-In-Use Assessor and certification coordinator at CBRE Poland. "An important outcome was also the clearer allocation of responsibilities, more systematic reviews and greater awareness among the teams responsible for the building's day-to-day operations."

"Office tenants in today's market are not simply looking for space, but above all for a comprehensive environment that supports their wellbeing and the efficient operation of their organisations," said Marta Zawadzka, Head of Leasing and Asset Management at TriGranit. "The WELL Health-Safety Rating demonstrates that these aspects are an integral part of the standard at Signum Work Station and strengthens the building's competitiveness." Iwanowski added: "WELL HSR provides Signum Work Station with tangible operational and reputational benefits. It confirms that the building is managed in line with high standards and provides clear evidence of progress towards ESG objectives, particularly within the social 'S' pillar."

Signum Work Station comprises seven aboveground and three underground floors, offering over 32,400 sqm of leasable space and 870 parking spaces, with a typical floor plate of 4,650 sqm. The building also holds BREEAM Excellent and ActiveScore Platinum certifications. Tenants include Mondelez, Ringier Axel Springer Polska, enel-med Medical Centre, Columbia and PPD. The property was acquired by DRFG in December 2024 and is currently owned by Efekta Real Estate Fund (EREF), with TriGranit, part of DRFG Investment Group, handling leasing and asset management.
