At 230 metres full roof height Varso Tower is now officially the tallest building in Poland. Works continue at the top of the building where a 80-metre tall spire is to be assembled in upcoming weeks. Upon its completion, Varso Tower - developed by HB Reavis - will be the tallest building in the European Union with its architectural height of 310 metres. The construction is set to complete in Q1 2022.

Yareal closed the final agreement for the sale of the first phase the LIXA complex in Warsaw, which opened its doors to tenants in November. The price has not been disclosed. 

The changing structure of demand for offices, and the increasing amount of space aimed at subtenants, raises the question of whether the office sector in Poland is facing the imminent prospect of oversupply.

Real estate asset and investment manager GalCap Europe has acquired the Koszykowa 54 office building in Warsaw. The seller is a mutual fund managed by UBS Real Estate GmbH. The office building was acquired under the mandate of a German pension fund and complements the existing CEE component within the investor's individual fund structure, which is managed by 2IP Institutional Investment Partners.

Nexity has announced that sales of apartments in its latest investment in Warsaw - La Praga in Radzymińska St. - has come to an end. The transaction has been sealed by a contract made with a Dutch investment fund Van der Vorm Vastgoed, which acquired all available apartments (more than 80% of apartments in the real estate property). The fund declares that they will be available for long-term rental.

While taking care of problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, office developers in Poland already plan their strategy for the expected supply gap in the years 2023-24. Israeli investment group AFI Properties has signed an agreement for the acquisition of the T-Mobile Office Park in the Warsaw district of Mokotów for about €100 million. The previous owner was Starwood Capital Group.

Warsaw Trade Tower, one of the tallest skyscrapers in the Polish capital is now being managed by its owner, Globalworth.

P3, the long-term owner and developer of warehouse facilities in Europe, expands its portfolio by two urban plots located within the Warsaw agglomeration, on which P3 Warsaw I and P3 Warsaw II parks will be built. Thus, urban logistics is yet another direction of the developer's intensive activities undertaken in Poland.
