The awards, celebrating the best projects, most impactful transactions and most inspiring personalities of the Romanian market, were presented at our Awards Gala and Exclusive Networking Party in Bucharest last night, part of our annual SEE Property Forum conference.

Nooka Space start-up has announced the launch of the largest network of smart proximity offices in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca. 

Belgian WDP, the developer of industrial and logistics projects, says it has ongoing investments of around €102 million in several Romanian cities with deliveries expected by the first quarter of 2022.

Romanian property holding Meta Estate Trust says it has invested €500,000 in the first phase of residential project The Lake Home from Sibiu. 

CTP, the industrial and logistics developer, has acquired seven buildings covering 153,000 sqm from Olympian Parks Group for an undisclosed sum. The assets are located in Brașov, Timișoara, and the south of Bucharest, which are some of the cities with the biggest stock of warehouses.

The winners will be selected by a jury committee comprising leading real estate professionals and the recipients will be announced as part of an Awards Gala and Exclusive Networking Party on 20 October, part of our annual SEE Property Forum conference.

Commercial real estate investments in Romania amounted to €570 million in the first nine months, down 29% compared to the same period of 2020, according to JLL Romania. The Bucharest market attracted 70% of the total investment volume, mainly in the office segment. 

Romanian developer Genesis Property says that its IMMUNE Building Standard is also covering the residential sector, on top of the office and industrial segments. 

Real estate consultancy Colliers says it has finished the transformation of its Bucharest-based HQ and is implementing the WELL Health-Safety standard in a bid to keep its employees safe and prepare for the post-pandemic future of work. 

Property developer Campeador says it has secured a loan worth €4.5 million from CEC Bank to continue the construction of its residential project in Timișoara.
