Fashion House Outlet Centre Pallady will undergo an expansion of 5,674 sqm roughly one year after the delivery of the first phase of the project located on the eastern outskirts of Bucharest. 

List prices for residential properties in Romania rose by 3.4% in the last quarter of 2021 compared to the previous three months. 

With six new office buildings slated for delivery this year, the leasable stock will grow by 135,700 sqm, which is the lowest level since 2017, according to real estate consultancy CBRE.

The fourth quarter was one of the best in recent history, with property deals in Romania at €342 million, compared to €40 million in the same period of last year, according to real estate consultancy Colliers. The leasing of industrial and logistics spaces in Romania hit a record of 1 million sqm during 2021, with net take-up accounting for 80% of all traded volumes, according to real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. 

Property group NEPI Rockcastle, the biggest owner of shopping centres in Romania, has purchased a land plot of 17 hectares Galați for an undisclosed sum. 

Around 100,000 sqm of new retail spaces should be completed during 2022 in Romania, of which more than 80% are located in retail parks, according to a report by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
