Pedro Construct, one of the largest construction companies in Romania, led by businessman Petre Niculae, is developing - together with his associate Florin Ababe - a new residential assembly in the north of the capital, Jolie Village. The investment in the project is estimated at €21 million and for €12 million, the company has obtained financing through Libra Bank.

Retailer Profi has signed an extension of its lease agreement for 52,000 sqm of warehouse space in the Logicor Ploiești logistics park. 

Around 130,000 sqm of new modern offices could be delivered this year, with a total of roughly 360,000 sqm possible for the 2022-2024 period, though the 2024 calendar could be postponed, according to real estate consultancy Colliers. 

Romanian entrepreneur Ovidiu Budeanu has signed a franchise agreement with French hotel group Accor for the opening of a new 4-star Mercure Hotel in Bacău.

JLL Romania advised Euroest Car, a company specialising in the import and distribution of original car parts, in leasing 9,500 sqm in CTPark Bucharest Chitila, a Class A industrial park owned by CTP Romania in the northwest of Bucharest.

Globalworth has achieved the Access4you certification for its entire portfolio of almost half a million square meters consisting of 16 office buildings in Romania, becoming the first landlord to hold accessibility certification for wheelchair users, the elderly, people with limited mobility, and people with strollers. Industrial and logistics developer Logicor has completed the development of another 23,000 sqm in the Bucharest I Logistics Park in Mogoşoaia, in northern Bucharest. 

Mega Mall, the shopping centre in Bucharest owned by NEPI Rockcastle, will be expanded with new stores and a residential component that will include around 180 apartments.
