JLL's forecast for Q3 2024 new flat sales in major markets in Poland has proven accurate, with most cities experiencing a downturn compared to Q2 2024. The number of transactions across the six main markets reached approximately 9,200 units, marking a 6.9% quarter-over-quarter decline. This slowdown was mirrored in new supply, with only 12,600 units launched for sale across these markets. JLL experts provide a comprehensive overview of the residential market conditions in Q3 2024.

Romanian developer Cityring Property is exploring a new residential development on a land plot of 6.5 hectares in northern Bucharest close to Atria Urban Resort, where it launched the last development phase.

The construction of the Millhaus residential building, which Immocap is developing with the financial group Wood & Company in the Nivy zone in Bratislava, has exceeded the ground level. At this stage of construction, more than half of the residential units have already been sold to their owners.

Real estate brokerage Duna House estimates that 9,754 residential properties changed hands, up 21% year on year, and that HUF 112 billion worth of housing mortgages were taken out in September 2024 in Hungary, more than double (+106%) of the base period's data. The number of transactions in the first nine months of the year shows a nearly 40% yr/yr increase.

Nordika, Corwin’s new residential tower in Ljubljana, has been unveiled to the public. The project, which will comprise around 290 new apartments, will be part of a large-scale revitalization of the area along Masaryk Street in the city centre. 

The leading Czech portal focused on residential real estate, Home Portal, has welcomed a significant new addition to its team — Tal Roma, joining from AFI Europe Czech Republic. He will be responsible for taking the role of the CEO of the Polish subsidiary and head of the company’s expansion into the Polish market.
