AXI IMMO, an advisory firm operating in the Polish commercial real estate market, and British property consultancy Carter Jonas have formed an alliance, with both firms aiming to strengthen their cross-border activities.

Fortress Real Estate Investments Limited has laid the cornerstone for its latest investment in Central and Eastern Europe – Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze in Poland. The ceremony included representatives of the local city council, project partners and the general contractor – Goldbeck CEE North. This class A facility with a total GLA of 77,500 sqm is scheduled for completion in Q2 2024.

Despite rising operating costs, high inflation, and uncertainties related to events such as the conflict in Ukraine, Central and Eastern European markets continue to be attractive compared to Western Europe. Daniel Bienias, Managing Director in CEE at CBRE, talked to Property Forum about investment trends and the future of the advisory business in the region and beyond.

MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski Park witnessed an official cornerstone-laying ceremony. The new logistics centre by MLP Group will encompass 56.7 thousand sqm of warehouse space, of which 9.2 thousand sqm will be taken up by the initial occupant Sunrise Medical. The project, due for completion in February 2024, is expected to achieve the BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’.

Just ahead of the Expo Real investment fair in Munich, experts of Avison Young presented an overview of the current situation in the Polish commercial real estate market. 

Hillwood Polska and LCube have signed an agreement to develop a logistics facility on the eastern outskirts of Wrocław. Spanning over 60,000 sqm, the Hillwood & LCube Wrocław East industrial and warehouse complex will offer Class A warehouse space and meet 'Excellent' BREEAM certification standards. LCube will serve as the Development Manager, working closely with Hillwood through the construction and commercial phases.

PURE Hub is a new initiative connecting businesses and institutions, aiming at the reconstruction of Ukraine and supporting Ukrainian investors in Poland. 

Mosaic World signed a purchase-construction agreement with Novaform Polska, the Polish subsidiary of Novaform Holding and part of KlokGroep, for the purchase and construction of 98 rental flats and 138 built parking spaces in the Nove Olendry project in the Naramowice district in Poznań, Poland.

EPP’s near- and long-term science-based targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). By 2050, the largest asset manager of retail real estate located in Poland commits to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3. 

7R finalised the sale of 7R Park Szczecin and 7R Park Łódź West II. The new owner of the properties became P3 Logistic Parks. The price has not been disclosed.
