CBRE Global Investors in collaboration with general supplier Demaco have handed over the new premises in Nýřany to their client Faurecia represented by the industrial agency of Colliers International Czech Republic. Faurecia Seating Plzeň opened its plant in this location in 2013 and earlier this year, and the automotive supplier agreed on an expansion within the existing location. The new premises will be used for manufacturing automotive seating for BMW, Opel, Volkswagen and other brands. The site can also offer space for another expansion.
Fund management company Redside has completed the acquisition of an industrial building in Pilsen, Czech Republic, with a total lettable area of 25,000 square meters. The seller is the current occupier of the property, the Japanese cable maker Yazaki. The new owner has joined forces with Panattoni Europe, for further development.
CTP has sealed a long-term strategic partnership with Deka Immobilien involving three prime industrial parks in the Czech Republic - CTPark Plzeň, CTPark Prague North and CTPark Teplice. Deka Immobilien acquired the ownership stakes in the parks with CTP Group continuing to manage and operate the portfolio under the CTPark network brand. Including two development projects, the deal represents 430,000 sqm of premium industrial properties. The transaction volume of €460 million places the deal amongst the largest ever real estate transactions in the Czech Republic.
CPI Property Group unveiled its new plans and projects at MAPIC. The Group plans to refurbish the Campona shopping centre in Budapest, extend Královo Pole in Brno and Olympia in Pilsen and remodel the food court in the Ogrody shopping centre in Elblag, Poland.
Panattoni Europe plans to transform the former Škoda Plzeň complex in the Borské terasy area in Pilsen into a modern technological centre. The extensive 28-hectare brownfield is currently empty, but it has great infrastructure and is well connected to the surrounding industrial plants. Panattoni Europe’s plans are in line with the current development strategy of the city of Pilsen and are currently undergoing an EIA environmental impact assessment. The total amount of investment is estimated at more than €77 million (CZK 2 billion).
ROCKWOOL is expanding its office space in the Nowy Rynek D building, developed by Skanska in Poznań. In 2020, a competence centre was established on an area of 6,000 sqm. Now, the company has decided to lease additional 900 sqm.
Primark has opened the doors of its fourth shop in Poland for the first time in Katowice's Silesia City Center. The store occupies more than 3,600 sqm of retail space.
Signify is relocating its existing headquarters in Lódź. The new office, located in the city centre in the Hi Piotrkowska complex, has an area of over 2,800 sqm. The tenant was assisted in the signing of the contract and the process of arranging the new office by the consulting firm CBRE.
