MAD Planning & Projects has sold an office building in Bucharest to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest for an undisclosed sum. The building located close to the University Area is set to host a medical simulation center.  

With total investments exceeding €500 million in Romania’s real estate market in the past 25 years, Anchor Grup is looking for new funding and recently kicked off a new residential project. Affan Yildirim, General Manager, Board Member of Anchor Grup and Board Member of Shopping MallDova, spoke to Property Forum about the way in which the developer adapted its malls and offices to the post-pandemic trends but also about the investment context in the country.

Property developer Globalworth has secured a green loan of €85 million from the IFC, a member of the World Bank, which will be used for the expansion of sustainable projects in Romania. 

A record-breaking volume of investments in commercial real estate in Slovakia was realized in the first half of the year 2022. Total investments exceeded €600 million. The record volume is largely due to the transfer of part of Penta´s original portfolio to the new developer Alto Real Estate. It influences the statistics so the office buildings gained a position of the dominant segment with around 70% share of all investments. The share of domestic capital is representing almost 70% of the total volume of transactions. Within the context of rising inflation and increasing interest rates, analysts consider yields to be bottoming out without space for further compression. Slovakia continues to maintain its reputation as a safe investment location with competitive yields, according to Cushman & Wakefield's latest report.

Revetas Capital has completed its sustainability-focused investment project at the Bonarka for Business “B4B” office park in Kraków, the B4B Oasis. By activating the common areas, the workplace is enhanced, thereby reducing the overall density within the buildings.

In total, 16,000 sqm of Class A office space has been delivered in the second largest city of Hungary. The building was developed by a local company, Dryvit Profi, realista.hu reports.

MidPoint71, an office building in Wrocław, was acquired by Trigea Real Estate Fund, the fastest-growing Czech fund. The project of Echo Investment, which obtained the occupancy permit earlier this year, was sold for over €100 million. In another deal, three office buildings in Fuzja Łódź project were acquired by KGAL Group, an independent investment and asset manager, for over €56 million.

Thanks to new and extended leases, myhive Atrium Park, located on Váci út, has leased its entire 31,200 sqm office space. New services have been introduced and interiors have been renewed at the office building.
