New warehouses could be built in the Košice region. Besico Real Estate is planning to build new warehouses in the industrial park Kechnec. The new complex should have an area of almost 100 thousand square meters. The company has not disclosed the amount of the investment, writes Trend.sk.

Dm-drogerie markt has signed an agreement to lease new warehouse space in Prologis Park Prague-D1 Ostředek. The new dm distribution centre will cover an area of 21,000 sqm and will also include offices. 

Total investment transactions in Romania’s commercial property sector stood at €62.4 million in Q3 2023, with 32% of the total volume represented by sale-and-leaseback transactions, according to a CBRE report.

Panattoni has completed another production plant in the Kraków region. Technoform, the leading producer of double-glazing components, is to use 9,400 sqm of BTS space. Industrial parks should become a powerful driver of the economy and a driving force for the development of the Ukrainian industry and its inclusion in the European system. The state has created the prerequisites for this: in addition to tax incentives, the draft budget for 2024 provides UAH 1 billion (€26 million) for a program to support industrial parks. Just a few months after the handover of the first 21,000 sqm speculative industrial and logistics hall of IGPark Kecskemét South, Infogroup started the construction of a new building. The new hall is scheduled to be handed over in q4 2024.

The modern industrial stock reached almost 11.5 million sqm, as nearly 183,000 sqm of new space was delivered to the Czech market in Q3 2023. Demand for industrial space slowed down in Q3 2023 reaching only 181,700 sqm. Speculative development slightly increased to 41% of the over 1.4 million sqm currently under construction, continuing the trend of the previous three quarters. The vacancy rate decreased by 22 basis points compared to the previous quarter, and remained low at 1.5% Prague’s average highest achievable rent has remained stable, reaching around €7.50-7.70 per sqm per month, the Industrial Research Forum (IRF) reports.
