The demand for industrial spaces in CEE is moderating after a record year, with vacancy rates having slightly increased but still at a healthy level. The shift in demand patterns has included larger deals and tenant diversification. Despite challenges, logistics is an attractive asset class with yields comparable to offices and retail, revealed the discussion at CEE Property Forum 2024 in Vienna, chaired by Martin Polák, Managing Director CEE at GARBE Industrial Real Estate.

A new unit in Arete Park Rokycany 1 has been completed and handed over to the tenant, Safran Cabin CZ, a manufacturer of cabin interiors. The unit is part of the park's second building, which is expected to have a total leasable area of more than 15,000 sqm.

Panattoni is to build a new industrial park in the Mazovia region. The development of Panattoni Park Sochaczew with an area of almost 28,000 sqm will commence in the first quarter of 2025 with the first tenant – Pilkington Automotive Poland – to move in by November of the same year.

Logistics investor Prologis has secured a €225 million framework loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to add photovoltaic systems and storage facilities to its projects across Central and Western Europe. 

C.S.CARGO is expanding its operations by establishing new industrial premises at CTPark Kadaň. The lease of a total area of 4,200 sq m was facilitated by Savills.

Industrial developer CTP has announced the leasing of 19,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in Serbia-based CTPark Novi Sad East to Shanghai Huizhong Automotive Manufacturing (SHAC), a Chinese supplier of car parts and systems. 

Polish fashion producer LPP has leased 42,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West, which takes the total occupied area in the project to 131,000 sqm.
