According to the latest report prepared by Cresa Poland, leasing activity reached nearly 52,600 sqm on the Kraków office market in the second quarter of 2020. Renegotiations accounted for 76% of the leasing volume, while new leases and expansions made up 15% and 9% of all deals, respectively.

Belgian property developer Weerts bought a 30-hectare lot from Erste Real Estate near Budapest, advisory firm VLK Cresa said in a statement.

The H1 data indicate that the worst-case scenarios regarding the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Warsaw office market did not materialize. According to a report published by Cresa Poland, the second quarter witnessed a substantial volume of new supply which has now been almost fully absorbed by the market. Dywidag Systems International has leased 24,000 sqm of production-social space in Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II, site for the production of Post-Tensioning Systems and Stay Cable Systems. The tenant was represented by Cresa Poland.

According to Cresa Poland, the office market in Poznań is heading towards achieving supply-demand balance. Within one year, office stock in Poznań increased by almost 11% and amounted to over 580,100 sqm by the end of March 2020. The average annual growth rate for this market in the years 2012–2020 was at the level of 11%.

According to the latest Cresa Poland report, the first quarter of this year recorded very positive results for the warehouse and industrial market. Total stock at the end of the quarter exceeded 19 million sqm – an increase of 16.2% as compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019.

Hartwig Gdynia has leased 5,200 sqm of warehouse and office space in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. The tenant was represented during negotiations by Cresa.

Erste Real Estate, a subsidiary of Erste Bank Hungary, has signed an agreement to sell 57 hectares of a 170-hectare plot in Ecser, next to Budapest, to an international logistics company that intends to build a 100,000-square-meter high bay warehouse on the plot. VLK Cresa assisted the seller in this transaction.
