Construction has begun on the Nová Cihelna Kladno residential project in the Kladno-Rozdělov district, featuring 104 apartments. The development includes ecological elements such as photovoltaic panels, heat pumps and an underground rainwater retention tank. Future residents will enjoy a large community garden with park landscaping.

Romania's construction sector represents nearly 8% of GDP in the past four quarters, the highest share in the European Union, according to Eurostat data analysed by Colliers. This level significantly exceeds the EU-27 average of 5% and confirms construction's growing importance in the local economy. Romania also recorded the second-fastest post-pandemic growth in construction activity within the EU.

A retail park is being developed on the site of the former Glinki shopping centre in Bydgoszcz, with opening planned for Q1 2026. The project, developed by Redkom Development, will initially have 16,000 sqm GLA. A second phase is planned to add another 4,000 sqm GLA. The investor is Newgate Investment.

Panattoni has purchased a 13-hectare plot on behalf of investor Jet Investment and is launching a new development in the Podkarpacie region. The first phase of Panattoni Park Rzeszów North II will include two buildings totaling over 42,000 sqm, with three tenants already signed. The complex will ultimately exceed 110,000 sqm.

Skanska has leased the entire second phase of its H2Offices development project in Budapest while still under construction. Work began on the second building of the three-phase complex on Váci út in Q4 2024, with concrete structures now reaching the second floor level of the existing building. Construction production in the Czech Republic has increased by 17.1% year-on-year, and has been higher by 2.3% month-on-month, according to the Czech Statistics Office's report of August 2025 figures. The market is mostly driven by infrastructure construction.

Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Romania's real estate and construction sector more than tripled between 2014 and 2024, increasing by €15.1 billion to reach €21.6 billion by the end of last year. The sector's share of total FDI stock rose from 10.6% to 17.3%, according to National Bank of Romania (BNR) data analyzed by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
