Trei Real Estate has completed the first construction stage of its UP2U rental housing development in Poznan, Poland. The project delivered 330 apartments, with the first tenants moving in October 2025. By 2026, the development will comprise 460 furnished rental apartments totaling 19,300 sqm of residential space, requiring an investment of €51 million.

Romanian developer Iulius has launched Europe's largest private bioremediation project, investing €29 million to clean 38 hectares of contaminated land in downtown Constanța. The project will transform the former Oil Terminal platform into an integrated urban regeneration complex worth over €800 million.

Bellemonde has announced the launch of Bellemonde Privée, a new residential project in Pipera adding 52 villas to the growing community. The total investment amounts to €25 million, with approximately 65% secured through a financing partnership with Vista Bank.

The value of new construction projects started in Hungary during H2 2025 has reached its second-lowest point since 2020, finds the EBI Construction Activity Report, prepared by Eltinga, Buildecon, and iBuild.

Despite the escalation on the front lines and increased shelling of civilian infrastructure in peaceful cities since the beginning of summer, the Ukrainian construction market has seen an increase in the number of new projects launched and completed in the first half of the year. The Ukrainian Real Estate Club has summarised the situation for Property Forum.

Digitalisation of the construction permitting process has proven to be a significant obstacle to the development of cities and municipalities, according to the recent CEEC Research survey. In practice, it is still not working as expected. On a scale from 0 (completely non-functional) to 10 (fully functional), city representatives have given the system an average score of 3.40.
