Recorde Asset Management, in partnership with Chapel Hill Capital, has acquired Science Park, a 30,700 sqm office complex in Budapest's 11th District. The transaction represents one of Hungary's largest office deals this year.

DRFG Investment Group has completed its first commercial property acquisition in Hungary by purchasing the Bartók Ház office building from CA Immo. Located in central Budapest, the property offers more than 17,600 sqm of leasable space. The transaction is part of the group's strategy to expand its real estate portfolio across Central and Eastern Europe.

Two hotel developments by Wing, the Ibis & Tribe Budapest Stadium Hotel and the Tribe Budapest Airport Hotel, have obtained BREEAM certification. The dual-branded Stadium Hotel is the first hotel in Hungary to achieve the highest rating, the BREEAM In-Use "Outstanding" category, joining only four hotels worldwide that hold this top-level sustainability certification.

Forestay Group and its financial partner Recorde Asset Management have signed an agreement with Marriott International to open a dual-branded hotel development in Budapest, featuring a Moxy Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott under one roof.

The 48-room Leon Hotel & Lounge has opened near the Buda side of Chain Bridge, according to Market Építő, the project's contractor.

Demand in Hungary's new-build housing market temporarily returned to normal following a boom at the end of last year and the beginning of this year. However, from August, purchases may pick up again due to the maturity of a government bond and the state-subsidised Home Start loan program.
