Garbe has received a building permit for the second phase of its Garbe Park Brno South project. It is adding two modern buildings, bringing the park’s total area to 111,000 sqm.
The park is adjacent to the R52 expressway towards Vienna. Located in Pohořelice, 30 kilometres south of Brno, this phase will add 60,000 sqm and 20,000 sqm in 2 halls with a clear height of up to 18 metres. Together, the first and second phases comprise four buildings designed with a focus on sustainability, technical requirements, and low operating costs.
The project also plans a retail zone, designed not only for park employees but also for residents of surrounding municipalities. This concept has already proven successful at Garbe Park České Budějovice, where it is operated by a grocery retailer.
In five years of operating in the Czech Republic, Garbe has developed industrial parks also in České Budějovice, Chomutov, and Klášterec nad Ohří with an emphasis on ESG standards, sustainability, and technical infrastructure.
