The revitalisation of the Brno brownfield into a lively urban district has been commenced. Today, the developer PSN has tapped the cornerstone of the first stage of the Brno Jedna project.

The first residential buildings of the Brno Jedna project, named Neon and Xenon, will offer 188 housing and accommodation units in various layouts. Commercial and retail spaces will be created on the ground floor to enliven the location and strengthen its daily use. The project also includes shared spaces, greenery, and an active roof terrace with a workout playground.

The revitalisation of such zones is one of the city's long-term priorities. "The transformation of inner city brownfields is key for Brno to develop within its borders, without the need to increase the perimeter of the city," explains René Černý, Councillor for Investments and First Deputy Mayor.

Petr Pospíšil, Director of the Brno branch at PSN, is pleased that PSN can be part of this transformation: "Brno has a huge potential to develop right inside its city - in places that have long since lost their original use.“

The strategic location of the complex, within walking distance of the historic centre and in proximity to the Svitava embankment, predisposes the site to become a natural extension of urban life to the river. In the future, the city is counting on the development of a new district with housing, offices, services and public infrastructure. Completion of the first stage is planned for the end of 2027.
