A new residential district with almost 240 flats will be built in Ostrava's most populous district Jih. The project in Středoškolská will also include parking spaces, a park, and sports facilities. The investor will be Linkcity Czech Republic, which will pay a minimum of CZK 29 million excluding VAT (€1.2 million) for the land. Gabriela Pokorná, a spokeswoman for the municipality, told reporters, according to the ČTK news agency.

In the first half of 2023, over 93% of powiats around large cities in Poland showed an increase in interest in apartments for sale following the easing of conditions for granting mortgage loans, according to Otodom data.

The neglected premises south of the National Bank of Slovakia building should soon change. A new development has been in the pipeline since 2018. Originally, the developer was Penta Real Estate. As it was unofficially confirmed last month, Sekyra Group has agreed with Dostupné bydlení České spořitelny and the insurance company Kooperativa on the sale of the Opatov II residential project in Prague 11. This is one of the largest build-to-rent (BTR) transactions in the Czech Republic, Sekyra Group announced. The price of the transaction was not disclosed. 

Cavatina will launch its first residential project in the United States – a 13-story building in downtown Seattle, Washington, made of prefabricated components manufactured in Poland. The project is being developed by Cavatina in collaboration with the internationally renowned architectural firm, Epstein, based in Chicago. Cushman & Wakefield advises the Cavatina Group on matters related to purchasing land.

Romanian property company Impact Developer & Contractor has obtained the construction permit for its Greenfield Copou residential project in Iași that will have a market value of around €175 million.

Developer Penta Real Estate is progressing in the construction of a new quarter in Bratislava Bory. The zone is gradually growing, with residential buildings, retail objects and necessary amenities being added. After a period of wild growth without an obvious unifying concept, the first signs that Bory will one day resemble a real city are beginning to appear, YIMBA.sk reports.
