The XPlace platform, owned by the Archdiocese of Prague, and Penta Real Estate have entered into a partnership in the area of ​​rental housing. Thanks to it, the rental portfolio of XPlace is expanding by two turnkey apartment buildings in the neighbourhood of the Vidoule Nature Park and the new city district of Waltrovka in Prague.

The construction of the Stockerka project from the Proxenta investment group has been officially started, YIMBA.sk reports. After projects in the centre of Bratislava, the developer decided to build a residential complex in the Devínska Nová Ves district.

Developer Corwin has finished the residential complex Kvartet in Ljubljana. The first foreign project of a Slovak developer in Slovenia has obtained a valid building use approval and is almost completely sold out.

LivUp, a company operating in the Polish Private Rented Sector, has closed 2023 with a portfolio of over 750 residential units in Warsaw and Kraków. In the past year, the company entered a new market - and opened its first project in Kraków, moved its headquarters, and finalized a rebranding process. LivUp is not slowing down at all. In 2024, the company plans to introduce an additional project with 160 flats on the Warsaw market. The goal for the next three years is to increase the portfolio to 2,000 residential units.

As early as 2022, when banks started raising mortgage prices, the fewest apartments in new buildings have been sold in Bratislava since the economic crisis. The 2023 market figures are not optimistic either, DennikN.sk reports.

Corwin has announced the completion of its first residential complex in Ljubljana, which is also the company’s first investment in Slovenia. After the completion of 236 apartments, Corwin revealed plans for the development of another 1,600 apartments in the same city in the next decade.

Romanian entrepreneur Petre Niculae, the owner of several construction and real estate companies, has recently started the construction of a new residential complex in Bucharest that will feature 750 apartments.

Developer YIT has launched the construction and sale of the new Sija Kamýk project in Prague 12. The development of the project is revitalizing the former brownfield used as a building site and later as office buildings in the Praha-Kamýk district.

Developer Penta Real Estate has obtained the building permit for the next stage of its Bory residential zone, YIMBA.sk reports. The permit is not valid yet, however, the whole permitting process has run at full speed in this case.

The residential segment in Brno has booked rather not a positive record. Data from the real estate company Trikaya, as e15.cz reports, are speaking clearly: while 1,192 apartments in new buildings were sold on the Brno market in 2021, last year it was only 492. This is the least in the last 10 years.
