The transformation of the Tesla Pardubice brownfield into a modern urban district for 750 residents has reached its final stage. The implementation, which is taking place on a 2.5-hectare plot of land under the direction of the development company Linkcity and the general contractor VCES, has already started in 2021.


The construction of the last three buildings began in the summer of last year with a planned completion date in Q4 2025. The new district will be expanded by two more apartment buildings with 36 units for cooperative housing and a wooden apartment building with 11 apartments for sale. Linkcity's total investment in the project will exceed CZK 1 billion (€39.6 million).

Linkcity in New Tesla has so far completed two phases including 196 apartments, 11 terraced houses and the Penny Market building with an adjacent parking lot, which serves not only shoppers but also visitors to the nearby hospital. As part of the third final phase, three more apartment buildings with 47 units are being built.   

All construction to date has been carried out sustainably using low-carbon concrete. All townhouses built within the 2nd phase are equipped with photovoltaics on the roof. Like the Penny Market building, they also have an extensive green roof, which helps with thermal insulation in the winter and cools the interiors in the summer months.

This strategic scale-up is mirrored by simultaneous growth in several regional markets, including a new 740 sqm unit at Magnolia Park in Wroclaw and a 600 sqm extension at Galeria Warmińska in Olsztyn. The retailer further bolstered its Silesian presence with a 500 sqm location at Pogoria Shopping Centre and a new opening at CH Platan, significantly increasing its total floor space across Poland.

New appointments

  • Avison Young has promoted Bartłomiej Krzyżak and Marcin Purgal to the roles of Co-Heads of the Investment Department in Poland. Krzyżak, previously Senior Director, brings 18 years of commercial real estate experience, having joined Avison Young in 2017. Purgal, also a former Senior Director and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), transitions into the co-head role with 23 years of experience in the CEE commercial markets.
  • Avison Young has strengthened its Polish leadership with three senior promotions. Patryk Błach ascends to Associate Director within the Investment Advisory Department. Kamil Głowienka has been named Senior Project Manager. Furthermore, Katarzyna Uzar becomes a Valuation and Innovation Specialist, tasked with integrating technological solutions and coordinating global departmental projects.
  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
