Czech real estate developer Urban Developers and Investors Ltd. Group (UDI Group) is making its first investment in Hungary, in a Budapest-based residential project.

In four phases a total of 324 modern apartments will be built in a variety of sizes, with some minor differences in their floor plans.

Parkside Residence will have an underground garage with 364 parking places, 215 storages and a 2,000 sqm landscaped, closed, inner garden with automatic irrigation system using rainwater.

"Leveraging our international real estate development expertise and knowledge, we are currently developing 7 projects in the region in parallel. In Hungary Parkside Residence will be our debut project and we are particularly focused on delivering a high-quality building which will contribute to the development of urban communities through sustainable and environment-friendly solutions. This is going to be our business card," says Szilvia Vida, the Country Manager of UDI Group.

The UDI Group entrusted the Hungarian-owned Bernecker Zrt. with the work as a result of a tender that lasted one and a half years. Bernecker has so far built 1,400 apartments and 600 hotel rooms.

The complex also includes a Staybridge Suites Hotel (part of IHG Group), operated by Mogotel which has been developed for short to medium-term business tourists.

The group has delivered to date 5,600 flats in Europe and Latin America.
