Sales numbers for new housing units in Warsaw in the first three quarters of 2019 amounted to 17,500, which was an increase of 7% y-o-y. In 7 out of 18 districts in the capital, the average prices of units on offer exceeded €2,500 (PLN 11,000) per sqm, according to JLL.

AFI Europe Romania intends to build 300 apartments on its 4.3-hectare land plot adjacent to the AFI Park office building and the AFI Cotroceni shopping centre, economica.net reported.

Romanian real estate developer One United Properties has obtained the building permit for the One Verdi Park mixed-use project that will include office and residential units.

Similarly to 2017, the Airbnb activity in Budapest showed strong growth (25% y-o-y) in overnight stay in 2018 as well, exceeding 1.8 million. Cordia continues to expand in Poland: after Warsaw, Krakow and Gdansk, Hungary’s leading apartment developer has entered the market of Sopot, the seaside resort as well, planning to build on the street named after the Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day. With this, the company – having already completed more than 1000 apartments – plans to build some 2600 additional homes across 17 projects in the promising market of the four Polish cities over the following four years.

Spanish-based developer, Gran Via Real Estate, completed the residential project Aviatiei Apartments with 291 units in Bucharest, followinga total investment of €17 million (construction cost, without land value).

Resi4Rent, the first institutional privately-run platform of apartments for rent in Poland, has been granted a use permit to its first building at Rychtalska street in Wrocław. Fitting-out works of apartments are in progress and soon residents will move into the building.
