AFI Europe Romania intends to build 300 apartments on its 4.3-hectare land plot adjacent to the AFI Park office building and the AFI Cotroceni shopping centre, economica.net reported.

Romanian real estate developer One United Properties has obtained the building permit for the One Verdi Park mixed-use project that will include office and residential units.

Similarly to 2017, the Airbnb activity in Budapest showed strong growth (25% y-o-y) in overnight stay in 2018 as well, exceeding 1.8 million. This figure reached 70% increase by the end of last year since 2016, says the latest Budapest city report on Airbnb released by Colliers International and Hotelschool The Hague.

Sales of new apartments measured jointly for the six largest markets in Poland increased by 6% q-o-q, according to JLL. The late boom in Poznań and Łódź means records may be broken by the close of the year.

NEPI Rockcastle plans to develop residential projects around the shopping centres it owns in Romania. The company will develop apartment buildings in five cities: Brașov, Bucharest (around Mega Mall and Vulcan), Râmnicu Vâlcea, Satu Mare, and Timișoara.

Resi4Rent, the first institutional privately-run platform of apartments for rent in Poland, has been granted a use permit to its first building at Rychtalska street in Wrocław. Fitting-out works of apartments are in progress and soon residents will move into the building.
