Three new members of staff have joined the Hungarian team of Panattoni, the European industrial real estate developer. Róbert Koncz is in charge of real estate operations, Péter Farkas of technical project management and Tamás Szűcs of land acquisition.

"With our company's entry into the Hungarian market, competition for both big box and last mile warehouse developments has become even fiercer. And in this environment, it is important to find experienced experts who are essential to serve the needs of different industry players, such as e-commerce companies, and to analyse new trends" - said László Kemenes, Managing Director of Panattoni Hungary.

Róbert Koncz has more than 25 years of experience in real estate management. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), an independent professional association of real estate experts, and the Hungarian Green Building Council (HuGBC). Previously, as a member of Prologis Hungary, he was responsible for implementing various green solutions. As Property Management Director at Panattoni Hungary, his ambition is to contribute as effectively as possible to the company's decarbonisation efforts by applying the environmental innovations he has already used, which are now essential.

Péter Farkas has been active in the field of industrial, logistics and residential property construction and development for almost 20 years. He has worked for international companies such as Tecton, Skanska and CTP. As a general contractor and consultant partner, he has been involved in the realisation of Lenovo's first European manufacturing plant and Nordic Light Trio office building. As Director of Project Management and the head of the technical and construction team, his responsibilities include the implementation of the technical, financial and time schedules of the construction works, the successful handover of the completed facilities, and the tendering and liaising with the general contractors.

Tamás Szűcs graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Retailing and Business. Most of his career has been spent working in multinational environments as a landlord, consultant and expansion associate. In his previous job, he helped Pepco, one of Europe's well-known discount chains, to penetrate the Hungarian market. As Land Acquisition and BTS Development Manager, he will be responsible for the expansion of Panattoni in Hungary, supporting new investments.
