Panattoni has started the construction of the first Polish logistics centre for Hermes Fulfilment. The investment is being built in Iłowa in Western Poland. The 150,000 sqm project will be one of Hermes’ largest hubs in Europe and is to provide employment for around 1,900 people. The company is planning to open the centre by the end of 2023 following an investment of around €300 million.
Panattoni is developing another complex in the Kraków region – Panattoni Park Kraków North, with an area of 55,000 sqm. The first tenant has already been secured for the park: Trivium Packaging – a global manufacturer of metal packaging, which will transfer its existing chemical packaging operations to its new 21,000 sqm premises at the beginning of 2023. Panattoni has now developed approaching 200,000 sqm of industrial space in the Kraków region.
Panattoni is to increase the size of its portfolio in the Lubusz region. The developer is to begin work on Panattoni Park Gorzów II, which should eventually comprise 67,000 sqm in three buildings. The first is to have 36,500 sqm and is to be completed this year. On completion of the project the company's portfolio should comprise more than 700,000 sqm.
Panattoni has completed a production and business centre for Danfoss Poland. The 13,000 sqm complex of buildings together with its accompanying facilities was completed a year after the launch of construction work. Dekpol was the general contractor.
Within a month, BSH, the largest producer of home appliances in Europe, will be using over 12,000 sqm within Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. The building will be used for storing tumble dryer components. This far Panattoni has delivered three developments with a combined area of around 150,000 sqm for BSH. Moreover, as part of the CEL Hub, the developer has delivered Appliance Park for component suppliers that serve the BSH factory.
Panattoni has just completed its fifth project for K-Flex in Uniejów in central Poland. In March, the developer also signed a new contract for the development of an extension of K-Flex’s production campus. This will be its sixth building and is to have an area of 33,000 sqm. The total area of K-Flex’s facilities in Uniejów will thus reach 100,000 sqm. This will allow the company, a leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials, to service the growing needs of its construction clients in Europe, Asia and the USA.
Three new tenants have leased space in Panattoni Park Toruń II: global logistics operators Dachser and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska as well as a wholesale distributor of FMCG products. The companies will be moving into the complex in Q3 this year. Panattoni has now delivered more than 300,000 sqm in the region.
Panattoni is once again developing a project for DB Schenker near Poznań. In the second quarter of 2022, the logistics operator will occupy over 20,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Poznań XII, where it will serve its client from the automotive sector. The two companies have worked together in Panattoni Park Poznań VIII in Komorniki. The building will feature reinforced floors, suitable for forklifts that use the inductive loop technology. Panattoni will also deliver numerous green solutions, which should allow the project to obtain the BREEAM certification at the “Excellent” level.
Panattoni Park Koluszki, with a target area of 39,800 sqm, is now 60% leased. In September this year, more than 13,500 sqm will be occupied by international auto parts supplier Kamoka. The tenant was represented by Axi Immo in the selection process for the location and negotiating the contract.
Panattoni is to open up a new warehouse market in Central Poland. The developer has purchased a site in Pabianice, where it plans to deliver a park with a total area of 95,000 sqm. The first building is to be completed this June and has already been leased by one of the leading electronic store chains in Poland. Panattoni Park Pabianice will be situated close to the S14 expressway, just 35 km from the junction of the A1 and A2 motorways, which means efficient distribution to markets across Poland. The three-building complex is to undergo BREEAM certification at the ‘Excellent’ level.
Elegance Decor, the home & deco company, has leased 400 sqm in Bucharest-based Equilibrium 1 for its new office. The building has a total leasable area of 20,700 sqm and was developed by Skanska.
Majorel Polska, an international outsourcing services provider has extendied a lease agreement for the next 2 years and leased additional 400 meters for a new project - IT Hub in recently modernised Globis Poznań by GTC. It now occupies 3 200 sqm of A-class workspace. CBRE has advised Majorel Polska on concluding the lease contract.
NEPI Rockcastle Poland has extended its office lease agreement and enlarged its premises in the Cosmopolitan Twarda 4 building in Warsaw city centre. The shopping centre owner and operator now occupies 1,500 sqm of offices in the building.
Tamás Kiss has joined Hungarian asset management company Diófa Alapkezelő Zt. and has been appointed deputy CEO. Previously he worked for several brokerage firms as a director of asset management and director of investment or compliance unit.
Tomasz Pietrzak, with MLP Group for more than five years, has been promoted to the position of Leasing Director Poland. Until recently responsible for the commercialisation of warehouse space in the Warsaw region, now he will manage leases across Poland.
