P3 is to start the construction of two new warehouses with a total floor area of 25,500 sqm at the P3 Prague Horní Počernice logistics park to respond to growing demand for space at the park. Once the expansion is completed, the park will have a total lettable area of nearly 380,000 sqm. Scheduled to start in the second half of 2017, construction will be completed at the beginning of 2018.

Approximately 6,916 sqm of the new space is to be developed on a built-to-suit (BTS) basis for an existing client – Sécheron Tchequie, which plans to launch a new project at P3 Prague Horní Počernice in order to increase its direct-current traction substations manufacturing capacity.

The remainder of the space, approximately 18,500 sqm, is available for lease to prospective tenants.

"The long-term occupancy rate in P3 Prague Horní Počernice park is close to 100% so we are confident that the new warehouses will be leased out very quickly once construction has started. I expect deals to be signed before the end of the year," says Tomáš Míček, P3’s Country Head for the Czech Republic.
