Panattoni Europe has completed a warehouse facility which is a record-breaker in Poland in terms of size at ground level. It is the central warehouse of Leroy Merlin totalling in excess of 123,300 sqm. The project was delivered literally in the centre of Poland – in Piątek commune, Łódź voivodeship – and has completed the BREEAM environmental certification process.

Panattoni Europe embarks on the construction of Panattoni Park Częstochowa. It is the developer’s first project of this kind in the north of the Silesian voivodeship. Panattoni Europe expands its portfolio in the Kuyavia-Pomerania region. The cornerstone has been laid under Panattoni Park Toruń II with planned space of 57,500 sqm. The two-building complex is being built in the north-eastern part of Toruń and has already secured its first tenant – a logistics operator, set to take up 5,000 sqm. Stage one of the investment process – a hall featuring close to 16,500 sqm – will be completed by next March.
Hines Global Income Trust has acquired a logistics property in Łódź. The property is a Class A facility designed for storage and light production and will be managed by Hines Polska. Along with its acquisition in Gdansk earlier this month, this acquisition represents Hines Global’s second Polish logistics facility.
CTP will complete the construction of a new factory in Kragujevac, Serbia for one of the world leaders in the production of car components. The investment is worth €16 million and will help create around 800 jobs in Kragujevac in the surrounding places.
Blackstone announced the launch of its pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, Mileway. The new company owns and operates approximately 1,000 logistics assets that have been acquired by real estate funds managed by Blackstone over the last several years.
Hines Global Income Trust has acquired a modern logistics park with an area of over 30,000 square meters near Gdańsk. The property purchased on 24 September 2019 from the investment platform The SEGRO European Logistics Partnership (SELP) will be managed by Hines Polska.
InPost has opened a second logistics centre in Łódź. Ultimately, almost 300 people will find work in the 8,500 sqm facility. InPost's logistics centre, located in the vicinity of the A1 Central Logistics Hub motorway, occupies 7.5 thousand sqm of warehouse space and 1 thousand sqm of office space.
Domax, a manufacturer of wood screws and connectors, has leased a 5,800 sqm warehouse at Mapletree Park Gdańsk Airport. The logistics centre is located close to roads S6, S7 and the A1 motorway.
