Panattoni has bought 14.8 hectares of land in Central Poland to build Panattoni Park Stryków IV. The project, which will feature 74,000 sqm at full build-out, will be developed at the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways. Construction kick-off is planned for Q3 2020.

7R, a Polish warehouse developer, is implementing new technology to manage the risks connected with flat roofs. The "Smart Roof" platform, developed by Sense Monitoring, helps to prevent roof overload by alerting the building's manager in advance of potential danger. 7R will apply the system in the 7R Park Gdańsk II logistics complex in Kowale, where a monitored roof will cover over 60,000 sqm of modern warehouse space.

Panattoni has leased approx. 7,300 sqm to DSV Road at City Logistics Łódź II. The facility will be handed over to the tenant in the coming June. To date, the developer has completed 10+ projects for the DSV Group, developing approx. 170,000 sqm of space in total in Poland and the Czech Republic.

In Central Europe, 5 buildings totalling 160,000 square meters are currently under construction by Prologis. The company published its first-quarter 2020 earnings results,

Panattoni has just bought land in Czeladź, the location of many previous projects by the developer. Construction works on the next distribution centre, the 36,500-square-metre Panattoni Park Czeladź V, will commence during this quarter.

Panattoni has started the implementation of two sorting plants for DPD Polska. They will be built as part of Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport and Panattoni Park Poznań X, each of which will have an area of approximately 3,600 sqm. The tenant will start operating in spring 2021.

Urbano Parks, a development company created by entrepreneurs Mircea Ilea, Alexandru Serban and Daniel Paraschiv in Cluj-Napoca, said over 95% of construction works on the first phase of Urbano Cluj Vest logistics park have been completed. The first tenants could move in next month.

VGP, a European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate, has successfully priced an offering of €200 million in gross proceeds by means of a private placement of new ordinary shares via an accelerated bookbuild offering to international institutional investors of 2.00 million new shares (approximately 10.8% of the company's outstanding shares on completion of the offering) at an issue price of €100.00 per share, representing a discount of 4.58% compared to the last traded price of the company’s share on 21 April 2020 of €104.8.

7R will make its debut on the Lublin market. The planned investment – 7R Park Lublin – will be a complex of modern warehouse facilities located in the industrial part of the city.

Total demand on the Budapest industrial market amounted to 79,660 sqm in Q1 2020, indicating a 5% decrease from the figure noted in the same period last year. Lease renewals accounted for an outstandingly high ratio, reaching 85% of the quarterly volume. The Budapest Research Forum published its quarterly industrial market analysis
