IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced its first Holiday Inn & Suites property in Europe by signing Holiday Inn & Suites Budapest Centrale – part of its Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts brand. The new hotel will offer 170 rooms and is set to open in late 2026.

Romanian developer Nordis Group has inaugurated its hotel & residence project Hotel Nordis Mamaia 5 ***** following an investment of around €100 million.

The Polish chain Focus Hotels, part of the Immobile Capital Group, has concluded a lease agreement for its first hotel in Wrocław. The company plans to open the facility in the fourth quarter of 2024.

These positive trends are expected to continue into 2024, with a recovery in the number of international guest nights in Polish hotels. In Bratislava´s Ružinov district, between Gagarinova, Mierová and Brodná streets, the construction of the Polyfunkčný objekt Mierová is planned, reports YIMBA.sk. This mixed-use project is being prepared by the developer RETEP, which has received a binding opinion from the city.

Accor is partnering with Allenort Group for the new Mövenpick hotel in the heart of Gdynia. The future facility will offer hotel services to tourists and business guests, featuring 176 rooms with a rich F&B offer, conference and banquet halls, a spa with a pool and treatment rooms, as well as underground parking.
