As of December 20, 2024, the owner of Reico has changed. The new owner (shareholder) of Reico is Erste Asset Management GmbH. 

This step aimed to unify the business model within the Erste Group in the field of real estate open mutual funds. Both Česká spořitelna, a.s. (the former owner) and Erste Asset Management GmbH are members of the Erste Group.

This change will not have any impact on clients or their existing investments. As a result the name Reico investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s. will change to Reico investment company Erste Asset Management, a.s.. The change will also affect the names of the managed funds, which will now be called Reico Nemovitostní, an open mutual fund and Reico Long Lease, an open mutual fund.

New leases

  • Golden Star Estate has secured two ground-floor tenants at its Warsaw-based Konstruktorska Business Center. 5 SENSES has signed as the new canteen operator, occupying 560 sqm of ground-floor retail space. Concurrently, CONTRACT Meble Biurowe has extended its commitment to the property. The firm, which has operated a publicly accessible showroom at the site since 2021, renewed its lease for 350 sqm on the ground floor.
  • American retailer GAP entered the Romanian market at Fashion House Militari, followed by the launch of an Italian Stefanel store at Fashion House Pallady, with a further Stefanel location scheduled to open shortly in Militari.
  • Primark will launch its first retail location in Craiova in early June. The 3,185 sqm store will be situated within ElectroPutere Mall and marks the retailer’s fifth unit in Romania.

New appointments

  • Avison Young has strengthened its Polish leadership with three senior promotions. Patryk Błach ascends to Associate Director within the Investment Advisory Department. Kamil Głowienka has been named Senior Project Manager. Furthermore, Katarzyna Uzar becomes a Valuation and Innovation Specialist, tasked with integrating technological solutions and coordinating global departmental projects.
  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.

CPI Europe sells historic Prague building

CPI Europe has completed the sale of a historic building at Na Příkopě 14 in Prague in a deal worth more than €100 million. The property has been owned by CPI Europe since 2006 and ranks among the most significant mixed-use office and retail properties in the historic centre of Prague with approximately 17,200 sqm of leasable space.
